World Of Warcraft Fan-Made Animated Short Paints A Picture Of What The Game Is Like Today

Carbot, a YouTuber known for his Blizzard game cartoon shorts, has published a new video in his WoWCraft series, titled This is Warcraft, that takes viewers on an emotional ride from World of Warcraft’s official launch in 2004 to the game’s eventual decline. The video paints an accurate picture of how poor design choices and microtransactions can ruin a well-loved game.

Blizzard Entertaiment commissioned Carbot to create an animation for the studio’s 30^th anniversary presentation during this year’s BlizzConline so it’s interesting to see how the big blue will react to his latest video, which you’ll find waiting just after the jump.
