World Of Warcraft Offers New Mount Reward For Six-Month Subscriptions

Mounts in World of Warcraft are not only used to get from one place to another, they’re also badges of honor that are proudly displayed when hanging out in city squares while waiting for the next raid. For those into collecting mounts, Blizzard has released a new one that should be really easy to get, as long as you’re willing to fork over some cash.

Over the past few years, Blizzard has been trying to entice players to go for the six-month subscription with various mount offerings, the latest of which is the Nether-Gorged Greatwyrm, a purple dragon mount styled after the Nightborne allied race. Players who choose to commit to a six-month subscription will also get the Tabard of Flame in The Burning Crusade Classic. The ultra-rare tabard was previously only available to players who were lucky enough to obtain a Legendary Card with the appropriate code from the World of Warcraft Trading Card Game.

For those who’d rather not commit to a six-month sub, the Nether-Gorged Greatwyrm can also be purchased from the Blizzard Shop for $25.
