World Of Warcraft Reveals Requirements To Unlock Flying In The Shadowlands

world of warcraft ardenweald bannerWith the World of Warcraft Chains of Domination update just around the corner, Blizzard Entertainment is giving fans a preview of the requirements to fly around in the Shadowlands, one of the key features that will be introduced in the upcoming patch.

Like in the past, unlocking flying mounts in Shadowlands won’t be as easy as simply buying the mount. Players will need to have completed the Covenant campaign and achieved Renown level 40 before they can unlock the ability to soar above the skies of the afterlife.

A new article on the official site explains exactly how to unlock flying in the Shadowlands expansion:

“Instead of challenging you with a Pathfinder achievement like in previous expansions, you’ll instead earn flying in Shadowlands early on within the newest chapters of your covenant campaign.

Upon completing a quest contained within the "The Last Sigil" storyline, you’ll be rewarded with Memories of Sunless Skies. This consumable item allows all characters on your account to purchase the Riding Skill needed to fly within the four main Shadowlands zones!”

The Chains of Domination update will also introduce the new Sanctum of Domination raid, the new Tazavesh, the Veiled Market dungeon, and more. There’s no definite release date as of yet but we’re probably looking at a release window of sometime this month or in July. We’ll let you know as soon as Blizzard gives the announcement.
