World Of Warcraft Reveals Schedule For Arena World Championship Summer Season

world of warcraft logo crowdWhen it comes to eSports, World of Warcraft would probably be the farthest thing from your mind right now with Fortnite, Counter Strike: Global Offensive, Overwatch, PUBG and other “more competitive” games currently taking center stage.

The iconic fantasy MMORPG, however, does have an eSports scene to speak of. In fact, Blizzard Entertainment is gearing up for the start of the Summer season of the Arena World Championship later today. The first half of the season will run until June 24th and will resume on July 9th all the way up to August 4th culminating in the global finals at BlizzCon this November.

Players will be able to catch their favorite teams compete in open bracket games every Wednesday on the official GCDTV Twitch Channel while the Top 8 events will be streamed on the Warcraft Twitch Channel.
