World Of Warcraft Will Delve Deeper Into The Shadowlands This Year

It’s been nearly two months since the official launch of the World of Warcraft: Shadowlands expansion. Since then, players have been traipsing around in the afterlife doing odd jobs for their chosen covenants and running the ever-changing halls of the Tower of the Damned. Well, that’s just the tip of the iceberg because the guys over at Blizzard Entertainment have a lot more content in store for the recently-released expansion.

Game Director Ion Hazzikostas teases what’s coming to the game this year in a brief interview with PC Gamer. “This year will see players delve deeper into the mysteries of the Shadowlands, including settings even more fantastical than what we’ve seen so far,” he said. “I can’t say too much more without getting into heavy spoiler territory, but an incredible journey lies ahead as players work to thwart the plans of the mysterious Jailer.”

Hazzikostas also assured players that they’ve heard the community’s concerns about the quality, or lack thereof, of endgame loot. “Yeah, we hear you, we’re talking about it, stay tuned!”
