Yesterday’s Fallout 76 Patch Resurrected Previously Fixed Bugs

fallout 76 nuclear zoneYou know that massive Fallout 76 patch that rolled out yesterday? The one that was “chock-full of bug fixes”? Turns out that while the patch did fix some bugs, it also brought back old ones, bugs that Bethesda Softworks supposedly already fixed. These include heavy bobby pins, loading bugs, and the infamous duping glitch, all of which have already been fixed in a previous patch.

According to VG247, the Fallout sub-reddit is brimming with bug reports and the Fallout community is none too happy. Bethesda Associate Community Manager LadyDevann was quick to assure the community that the devs are working on the problem. “We’re digging into this to understand the scope of the issue. If you or anyone else have more information you can provide, we will be actively looking at comments related to this,” she said.

LadyDevann’s statement did little to diffuse the situation, however, and the Fallout 76 sub-reddit is still on fire. There’s even calls for a change in the dev team’s leadership. “I am NOT asking for someone to be fired,” said DestinyHunter2018. “Let the person or people in charge take a step back and learn from someone else for a while. It is high time for REAL leadership in Fallout 76 development.”
