Peria Chronicles Additional Information

Developer: Thingsoft
Publisher: Nexon
Game Engine: Custom In-House Engine

Release Date: TBA
Reveal Date: November 1, 2012

Development History / Background:

Known as Project NT until October 29, 2013, Peria Chronicles is developed by the South Korean studio Thingsoft. On September 13, 2013, Nexon announced its intention to acquire Thingsoft through its wholly owned subsidiary Neople. Peria Chronicles was first revealed in 2012, but faced repeated delays, pushing back its release which is currently set at 2016.

Peria Chronicles has been labeled a spiritual successor to Mabinogi, another Nexon title.

  • The art style in Peria Chronicles looks awesome. Reminds me of Mabinogi for some reason, except with WAY crisper graphics. The brightly colored graphics remind me of Tales of Xillia too for some reason. I hope this game comes out in the West.

    • Cal Wykes

Art style wise, I would say it looks A LOT like Ni No Kuni by Level-5 and Studio Ghibli, and that is a great thing!

  • Mikel Hood

its being delivered by Nexon, now tell me what Nexon game hasnt made it to the west? Think about that

    • Unfortunately we haven't heard any information about Peria Chronicles regarding either an Eastern or Western release. It was missing at G-Star 2015, a huge global games expedition in Korea. Hopefully, something comes out about it soon but I think Peria is in deep development, but you're right. It will probably come to the West if it releases and doesn't pull a Starcraft Ghost.

      • Mikel Hood

ayyyyyyyyyyyy sick lol and yeah hopefully we hear even SOMETHING about it. I dont really see what theyre really needing to develop even more at this stage... it looked pretty finished but oh well ill wait.

    • luca laccona
