Stellar Stars Overview
Dream to be a star in Stellar Stars, a multiplayer roguelite platformer with MOBA elements, which the game developers have opted to call a MORA (Multiplayer Online Roguelite Arena). In retro 8-bit action, players choose from a cast of characters with distinct abilities. In the preparation screen, pick nine abilities to equip before jumping into battle. Create and save custom ability builds. Fight in small procedurally generated maps, where the settings may be familiar but platforms and spacings are always different. While jumping, countering, and evading, kill minions and capture the Victory Star to win. Play with up to four friends in the local versus mode or queue up against four other players online in PvP Quick Matches or in the ranked ladder Challenge League. Plug in a controller to opt out of keyboard controls. Tackle the Story Mode, featuring various levels and ridiculously powerful bosses.
Stellar Stars Key Features:
- Cast of Characters – choose between a variety of characters, each with over twelve different abilities, nine of which can be taken into battle.
- Customize Ability Loadouts – create and save ability builds for characters with ease.
- Procedurally Generated Fields – platforms and spacing are procedurally generated each time for a diverse experience.
- PvP – play with up to four other players in a local versus mode, server-wide Quick Matches, and the ranked Challenge League.
- Platformer MOBA – jump in 2D platformer style while killing minions and capturing Star points.
