MOBA Master X Master Takes Center Stage

NCsoft has given their highly anticipated MMORPG Lineage Eternal a backseat at this year's G-Star—instead opting to put all of their promotional efforts into their MOBA titled Master X Master. The game takes a hint from Heroes of the Storm and intends to use NCsoft's character base to bolster their hero lineup. While this may resonate in the East, not many players in Western locales are familiar with NCsoft's characters, as several of them have failed to leave a lasting impression (I fail to be able to name a few off the top of my head).

Master X Master's gimmick will be the usage of a tag-in system which calls back to games like Marvel Vs Capcom, allowing players to select two heroes rather than one and switch them out within the game. This can lead to some amazing gameplay and some disastrous balance issues... but Marvel Vs Capcom didn't need to be balanced to be fun anyway.
