Netmarble Announces Golden Bros a Blockchain Powered 3v3 PC & Mobile Shooting Game

Another week and another major gaming studio announces a blockchain project. This time its Netmarble, which announced 'Golden Bros', a 3v3 real time shooter for PC and mobile. The game bills itself as 'free to play' and 'play to earn', but the value of the game's currency and its utility isn't known yet.

While there's no concrete release date yet, Netmarble plans to launch the game sometime in the first half of this year, so June, 2022 at the latest. While I remain skeptical about any 'play to earn' game, Netmarble is a real game studio so hopefully the core gameplay should be half-decent, unlike other play to earn titles (looking at you Mir 4).
