Albion Online's Brutus Update Brings Out The Dead

albionbrutusupdate

Having successfully launched the Aurelius update last month, Albion Online developers Sandbox Interactive have moved on to a new major update, the Brutus update. Scheduled to launch at the end of January, the Brutus update will focus primarily on add undead to the current game. Various undead mobs, such as Ghouls and Cursed Skeletons, will be added to the game. They will be ruled over by bosses like the undead Governor and the Necromancer, among others.

Two new dungeons, the Sunken City and the Crypt, will introduce the "Gateway concept." Dungeons that make use of Gateways will allow players "from different clusters" to enter the same dungeon and take on a "challenging PvE adventure" once the gateway boss has been slain. Solo versions of these dungeons will be made available with rebalanced content designed specifically for solo players.

Like the Aurelius update before it, the Brutus update will also feature several major quality of life improvements. A Repair All button will allow players to repair all damaged items with the press of a button. Guild Management will finally become available. You will be able to see the range and direction of your spells before you cast them. The Destiny Board HUD is being revamped. The menu buttons are going to be scaled down for the PC version. An "optional small scale HUD for PC" will be introduced. A Collect All button will be added. Food and potion stack limits will be raised to 999.
