Recently, Daewoo Securities predicted that WildStar would be bringing in no revenue by the end of this fiscal year and former Carbine employees shared negative experiences, but February's State of the Game remains ever hopeful despite that. Chad "Pappy" Moore announces his position as WildStar's new Game Director and went on to detail some of this year's plans.

Moore starts by saying that the the future of WildStar looks like "two words: more content!" Destination Arcterra was recently announced, containing a whole new max-level zone with an "epic storyline." According to Moore, "this is the best zone that [they] have ever developed." The update will also feature the second chapter of the Nexus Saga, an adventure featuring fully voiced NPCs, cinematics, and more. It will be the "first story-based instance that’s multiplayer."

Later this year, players will be able to head to the Halon Ring asteroid belt around planet Nexus. There they will encounter "outlaws, marauders, and other unsavory individuals."

The next major raid will be the Redmoon Terror. It will launch sometime after Arcterra. A new "super cool and creepy" Expedition is in development. The Item Upgrades system—allowing players to increase the power of their gear—is also in development.

WildStar also recently entered Closed Beta in China through Giant Interactive. Moore notes that the team is "getting some great feedback from everyone playing there."

It seems that the team is committed to consistent pushes of major content. However, only time will tell if that is enough to escape the grim predictions surrounding the game.
