EverQuest 2 Begins Beta Testing For Its 21st Expansion—Scars of Destruction
EverQuest 2 has officially began beta testing for its much-anticipated 21st expansion, Scars of Destruction. The beta test offers a sneak peek into what’s shaping up to be a massive content drop and will run until the expansion’s full release on November 8, 2024, coinciding with the game’s 20th anniversary.
You’ll get to dive into new quests spanning Adventure, Signature, and Tradeskill lines, plus face off in fresh solo, heroic, and raid content while earning exclusive rewards in the process. Ready to explore new locales? You’ll also be able to visit Blackhook Spiral and Dragon Necropolis, both of which will be familiar to veteran EverQuest 2 players but are now more dangerous than ever.
For those who brave the beta, there’s more than just glory awaiting. Special rewards, including the cuddly Hoarfang Growler and the magical Enchanted Iceling pets, are on the table. You can also score the Well Prepared stat buff and the mercenary Koahcoo Kachoo, just for helping Darkpaw hammer out the final details.
In true EverQuest 2 fashion, Scars of Destruction brings plenty of flair. New Weapon Auras will let you show off in style, while the all-new Petamorph Key Ring keeps your growing collection of wand-wielding pets in check. Darkpaw Games isn’t skimping on the epic battles either—new dungeons and raids await to push adventurers to their limits.
