Once Human, the open-world multiplayer survival game by NetEase, is giving mobile users another chance to dive into its gritty post-apocalyptic world in its latest technical playtest. Players eager to experience the mobile version can now sign up for the ongoing playtest, which is now in full swing on iOS, Android, and PC through the Loading Bay client. The test went live at 8:00 p.m. PDT yesterday, but you’d better move fast—spots are limited!

This playtest is free, much like Once Human’s overall approach, and registrations can be done directly via the iOS App Store, Google Play Store, or the Loading Bay client. But keep in mind that you’re not officially in until you create your character, so act quickly before the registration cap is reached.

According to the developers, the playtest will include all currently available content, but no additional features. And fair warning: once the test concludes, all progress will be wiped. For mobile users wondering about controls, it’s a mixed bag—no controller support for mobile just yet, but PC players using Loading Bay can plug in.

The playtest is open to players in North America, Europe, Japan, Korea, and several other regions. For those unsure if their device can handle the post-apocalyptic madness of Once Human, you can check this technical requirements page to see if you’re in the clear.

Since its early access launch on PC, Once Human has carved out a decent following, consistently holding a spot on Steam’s Top 20 Most Played Games with peak player counts reaching over 91,000. The mobile version is expected to further expand the game’s reach, especially in regions where mobile gaming reigns supreme.

Curious to try your hand at surviving in Once Human’s bleak and brutal world? Sign up for the mobile playtest and see if you’ve got what it takes to thrive in the wasteland!
