Lineage 2 Classic Starting Expansion Announced, Pre-Order Details

4Game's Lineage 2 Classic was looking to be one of the best things to happen to the aging game in years. Then they announced the IP block for everyone outside of Europe. Then, on top of that, they announced that it would have a combined box fee and subscription model. Enthusiasm waned, but the project is still going strong.

Today, 4Game announced the starting expansion. Lineage 2 Classic will begin in the Age of Splendor expansion. Bug fixes and improvements from "other game versions" will be included. The full details of "the release version" will be announed at a later date.

They also announced that pre-orders will begin "within a few weeks." The full description has yet to arrive, but there will be two different pre-order packs available for purchase. Additionally, each package will include "7 days of early access." It is not yet announced whether this will be during a headstart period or a beta phase.
