Lord Of The Rings Gets A New Raid And Several Class Changes With Update 25.4

Standing Stone Games has just rolled out Lord of the Rings Online Update 25.4 which brings several class changes and a new Minas Morgul raid called Remmorchant, the Net of Darkness. The new raid is currently available in Tier 1 and Tier 2.

“Far beneath the Ephel Duath, in the deepest caverns of Torech Ungol, lies the Remmorchant, the Net of Darkness. There, wreathed in webs of shadow only the Light of Eärendil might hope to penetrate, lies the lair of Ungwetari, the last child of Ungoliant.”

As for the class changes, several classes have had their Stun Removal skill cooldowns decreased to 60 seconds. The defensive stat versus vitality balance has been tweaked to encourage more variety in the items used for defensive builds. The cost to reach the Partial Avoidance cap and itemization budgets for tactical mitigation, health, and Vitality have been reduced while itemization budgets for avoidance and incoming healing have been slightly increased. Several class skills have also been re-balanced, namely those of the Burglar, Captain, Champion, Hunter, Lore-Master, Runekeeper, and Warden.

Update 25.4 also introduces Universal Crafting Ingredients for completing Tasks every week starting at level 20. Universal Crafting Ingredients guarantee a critical success when used in a crafting recipe. Players will also receive ingredients upon completing certain quests during seasonal festivals.
