Lord Of The Rings Online Kicks Off Christmas Celebrations And Adds New Minas Morgul Quests In Latest Patch
Christmas celebrations in Middle-Earth are now in full swing as Turbine rolls out Lord of the Rings Online Update 25.1. The update marks the start of the Yuletide Festival which gives players the chance to earn in-game goodies and exclusive new items by participating in fun activities and completing daily quests at Winter-home. The event will run until January 6th.
The update also introduces four new Minas Morgul quests. “Claim The Dead City in the Reclamation of Minas Ithil,” says the devs. “Four Courts in Minas Morgul have fallen under the control of fearsome foes. Reclaim them all for the White Company and gain a Foothold in Minas Morgul.”
A new stablemaster has also been added in the center of Housing neighborhoods. These new NPCs offer fast-travel between major destinations in Middle-Earth. There’s also a whole host of quality-of-life improvements, fixes, and tweaks. You’ll find a detailed list of changes on the Lord of the Rings Online official forums.
