Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics have begun the winding-down process for Marvel’s Avengers as the team prepares to end official support for the multiplayer action-adventure game on September 30th. In preparation, the team has released one final patch for the underperforming game that basically unlocks everything it has to offer… for free.

“Nearly all MCU- and non-MCU-inspired outfits, emotes, takedowns, and nameplates are now automatically available on your hero card,” the devs announced. “Items that are earned through the campaign, however, or purchased through the cosmetic vendor must be earned or purchased, respectively, as they always have been. Both the shipments system and hero challenge cards have both been completely removed from the game.”

It’s worth noting that the game won’t be completely shutting down, it just won’t be getting support from either Square Enix of Crystal Dynamics after the announced date. Players will still have access to both the single-player and multiplayer modes even after the team ends official support, although the latter will only be available on consoles.

In addition to unlocking nearly everything in the marketplace, the team has also granted everyone a free Iron Man “Variable Threat Response” battle suit. You can check that out in action in the video below.
