EA announced today that their latest, always-online addition to the Need For Speed franchise will be headed to PC on March 15th. Those dismayed by the game's initial absence on PC can rest easy, as the PC version is right around the corner and will feature much of what you've come to expect from quality PC ports.

Need For Speed PC will feature an unlocked framerate—you can get a taste of the 60 FPS action in the trailer below. Resolutions ranging up to 4K will be supported, although support for non-standard aspect ratios such as 21:9 has not been announced. Steering wheels and other peripherals will be supported due to community feedback. Another community-requested feature that will be present is Manual Transmission, allowing the utmost in control over your car. Manual Transmission will also be added to the console versions at a later date.

While Need For Speed will be hitting PC on March 15th, Origin Access subscribers will gain access to the game on March 10th.
