Tree Of Savior Entering Open Beta In Korea On December 17th

The inevitable release of Tree of Savior's international version is beginning to feel a little closer as Nexon announced today that the Korean service would be entering Open Beta on December 17th. Following Closed Beta 3, there are several major changes made to the game. A blog post on MMOCulture details these changes.

At the release of open beta, there will be two starting cities to choose from. The level cap will be increased to 280, up from the level 200 cap of Closed Beta 3. New maps with new background music will be introduced to compensate for the increase in level cap. Maps will now be ranked based on a star system. The more stars a map is ranked with, the more difficult it will be, and the better the rewards you will obtain. Rank 7 classes—Cannoneer, Dragoon, Featherfoot, Kabbalist, Musketeer, Plague Doctor, Templar, and Warlock—will be introduced.

The guild system will also be introduced. Supposedly, only the Templar class will be able to start guilds for the price of 10 million of the game's in-game currency. Guilds will be limited to 20 members at the beginning. Once formed, the Guild Leader can begin building the guild's base in an area of their choice. The guild base will be host to guild events, "exclusive" companions, farming, and more.

Be sure to keep an eye out for more Tree of Savior news in the future. Hopefully, the international version isn't too far behind!
