Limit Zero Breakers’ Frontier Test Adds Chapter 3 and New Raids

NC, formerly known as NCSOFT, has confirmed the Frontier Test, a second closed beta for its anime-style action RPG Limit Zero Breakers, running September 9-13, 2026 on Android, iOS, and PC. Sign-ups for the free data-wipe test are open now through the official website until September 5.

The Frontier Test follows the game's first closed beta, the Prologue Test, held in June 2026, and marks the most content-heavy build shown publicly so far. Developer VIC GAME STUDIOS is using the session to push story progression and gameplay refinements rather than just re-running the prologue slice players already saw.

What's confirmed so far

Selected testers will be notified by email, and NC says a separate announcement will follow with pre-download instructions for the test client once recruitment closes.

The bigger picture

A second beta arriving three months after the first, with a full new story chapter and additional raids rather than a repeat of prior content, suggests VIC GAME STUDIOS is iterating quickly rather than just running a marketing beat. It's a similar cadence to what other anime-adjacent action RPGs have used to build community buy-in ahead of launch, and it echoes the staged testing approach seen in MapleStory Classic World's second CBT rollout. No release window or monetization model has been confirmed yet, and that's the real gap testers and prospective players should watch for once Frontier Test feedback comes in.

The next concrete milestone is September 5, when Frontier Test registration closes, followed by the five-day test itself starting September 9.
