Diablo 4 fans will soon be able to get actual hands-on experience of the next Diablo game as Blizzard announces two separate weekend beta tests scheduled for next month. The first weekend playtest will be held from March 17-18 and will be open exclusively to those who pre-ordered the game. Everyone else will get the chance to take the game out for a spin from March 24-26.

“During both the Open Beta and Early Access weekends, players will be able to intimately explore the early game of Diablo IV. This includes a first taste of the campaign via the Prologue and the entirety of Act 1,” Blizzard announced. “The first zone, Fractured Peaks, is yours to navigate as you please—stampede through the rugged landscape and cut down demons.”

“For the Open Beta and Early Access weekends, your character can only level up to Level 25, but you’re welcome to continue ripping through demons until the Open Beta ends,” the studio added. “Make your mark on Sanctuary by clearing hellish hordes from dungeons, completing intriguing quests provided by the locals, and amassing powerful loot from fallen foes.”

Those who want to get in to both playtests can still pre-order the game on PC as well as on PlayStation and Xbox consoles. Pre-orders are available in three tiers, starting at $69.99 for the Standard Edition, $89.99 for the Digital Deluxe Edition, and $99.99 for the Ultimate Edition.

All pre-orders except for the Standard Edition will also include a four-day head start prior to the game’s official launch on June 6th.
