Eden Star Goes Multiplayer, Adds Star Wars-Inspired Weapon

Eden Star :: Destroy - Build - Protect is a sci-fi survival game that is currently in Early Access. Up until now, it has been entirely an single-player experience. However, today, with the launch of version 0.1.2, the game has gone multiplayer with both PvP and cooperative server options available. "Over a dozen official servers" will be live over the course of this week. To play with others on these servers, players will be required to invite others to their colony.

In celebration of the launch of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, the team has added a Star Wars-inspired Energy Blade—seen below—to the game. Two new guns and two new creatures have been added alongside the Energy Blade.

"Very soon"—likely at the beginning of the Steam sale tomorrow—Eden Star will be on sale as part of a "Winter promotion" celebrating the launch of the multiplayer portion of the game.
