It looks like Ethyrial: Echoes of Yore has seen a big drop in its playerbase since it launched nearly two months ago as Gellyberry Studios prepares to consolidate multiple servers across different regions into just two big servers.

Subsequently, three PvE servers in North America East, South America, and Oceania will merge into the Narrowbane NA West server. Meanwhile, five PvP servers in the above-mentioned regions and Asia will combine into the Silverlake NA West server. It's worth noting that the two Europe servers remain unaffected by these changes.

According to the developers, the decision to merge into the NA West servers was based on their optimal average ping for players in the affected regions. No timeline has been given for when the merges will occur.

Alongside the server merges, the update also addresses adjustments to the MMORPG's roadmap, made in response to player feedback. Notably, fresh start servers and the 20-player Elemental Rift raid have been pushed back to August. An XP rescale is now scheduled for July, while PvP Season 1 is set to kick off in August, with a pre-season scheduled to begin in July.

You can check out the updated roadmap on the Ethyrial: Echoes of Yore Steam page.
