Ethyrial: Echoes of Yore’s journey has been a tumultuous one since the old-school MMORPG’s lackluster launch on May 1st. Just a few weeks after the game went live, Gellyberry Studios unexpectedly decided to completely wipe the servers, resulting in widespread chaos and even more grumbling from the game’s community. Unfortunately, the studio’s less than stellar standing with the community doesn’t look like it’s going to improve anytime soon.
Gellyberry has announced that it’s delayed the release of the game’s next patch and the promised three-month roadmap, citing "unfortunate news" without disclosing specifics. The announcement has naturally left players anxious and uncertain about the future of the newly-released MMORPG.
“Due to events that have transpired this week, we will not be able to release the patch and roadmap,” Gellyberry revealed on Discord. “We apologize we cannot share more at this time but promise next week to give you a full update in how this affects our team in the coming months.” Welp.
