EverQuest 2 Is Making Three More Expansions Free For Everyone This Week
Darkpaw Games is giving EverQuest 2 players access to more free content as the studio as it plans to make three more expansions free for everyone. Players can look forward to diving into Terrors of Thalumbra, Kunark Ascending, and Planes of Prophecy, and all of their associated content, without spending a dime starting on July 12th.
“You already have up to Altar of Malice and next Wednesday you’ll have three more expansions added for all accounts with adventure and tradeskill level caps going to 110!” announced Darkpaw. Players can also expect the arrival of Update 123: Shattered Overture and its expansion prologue sometime in September.
Meanwhile, Darkpaw’s Head of Studio Jenn Chan alluded this year’s expansion for the original EverQuest game in her latest producer’s letter. “Great things are happening, and the team is working ever diligently on the lore, quests, and much more!” she teased. “All I can say for now is that things are not always how we remember them… or are they?”
The team is also preparing to merge the Couirnav and Vox servers this month followed by the return of an updated version of the Stone Cold summer event in August. You can read the full Producer’s Letter on the EverQuest official site.
