Fractured Veil Rolls Out Its First Patch And Merges Servers Just Two Weeks After Launch

The future is looking a bit ominous for Fractured Veil following a round of server merges earlier this week. While it could just be chalked up to poor pre-launch planning, merging servers just two weeks after launch doesn’t exactly instill confidence in the game, especially with Mixed reviews and a peak concurrency of just 16 players on Steam.

The list of US East servers has now been trimmed down to just US East 1, US East 2, and US East 3. All characters and progress on higher numbered servers have now been shuffled into the said severs with the option to use a paid transfer service if you’re not feeling your new home. All other regions remain untouched.

The Hawaiian zombie survival MMO also received its first post-launch update this week, featuring a long list of fixes and workarounds for both major and minor issues along with various stability and quality-of-life improvements. Details can be found in the full patch notes on the Fractured Veil Steam page.
