Genshin Impact Adds New Mona Story Quest, First Major Update Scheduled For Next Month
Mihoyo is giving Genshin Impact players something to do while they’re waiting for the game’s first major update next month with the introduction of the new Astrolabos Chapter story quest for Mona, one of the playable characters in the recently-released cross-platform MMORPG.
Players must at least be Adventure Rank 38 and must have completed the pre-requisite quests before they can unlock the questline using Story Keys. Story Keys can be earned by completing Daily Commissions. Players will acquire one key for every eight Daily Commissions they complete.
Patch 1.1 which is scheduled to come out on November 13th will conclude the Chapter 1 of the game’s narrative and will also feature a new boss fight, improvements to the inventory system, new characters to collect, and a Reputation System that will allow players to earn additional rewards while adventuring.
According to PCGamer, a bigger update is also scheduled for release on December 23 which will come with the new Dragonspine Mountains zone along with a number of in-game events.
