Guild Wars 2 Announces Living World Season 1 Rerun And Another Balance Patch

Guild Wars 2 is bringing back Living World Season 1 for yet another limited-time rerun next week with special in-game rewards in store for those who participate in the event. Captain Ellen Kiel will be contacting you with details on where and when to go when the event goes live on January 16.

“Calling all bounty hunters! Revisit Living World Season 1 from 1/16 to 1/23 to help secure some areas and relive key encounters, and the Captain’s Council will generously reward you.”

Meanwhile, ArenaNet is cooking up another balance patch that’s set to be deployed on January 30. According to the initial patch notes, the patch will address several outliers that popped up following the bigger November balance update. It will also introduce a handful of changes that will pave the way for the new weapons that will be added in the fantasy MMORPG’s weapon proficiency update which is expected to hit the live servers in the next major release.

The January 30 patch will also buff several underperforming relics in addition to balance tweaks to Condi Rangers and Elementalists, Support Firebrands, and a few other builds and specializations. The preliminary patch notes are now available for your perusal on the Guild Wars 2 official forums.
