Star Vault has updated their Mortal Online 2 development roadmap with a variety of new features and content coming to the survival MMORPG over the next few months. Instead of the traditional release windows, the studio has decided to break the roadmap down into “sprints” with each sprint scheduled for release in sequential order.

Sprint 1, the next update in the pipeline, will introduce several new quality-of-life features including a Combine tool, storage kegs, the ability to move the hotbar, and a “follow” command for pets, along with new points of interest. Sprint 2 will come with new dungeons, more new points of interest, and other general improvements.

Further down the line, players can expect the addition of a Beast Mastery system, new mounts, house trading and demolishing, pet navigation in houses, alchemy, elemental magic, a weather system, territory control, siege combat, and table games.

The team is also promising an Epic Games Store release, an upgrade to Unreal Engine 5, increased server capacity, new-player experience improvements, notice boards for guilds, night vision, zone rules and reputation, thievery skills, and improved NPC behavior.
