Star Vault’s seemingly unending quest to increase server capacity and improve performance in Mortal Online 2 continues with this week’s patch. The patch mainly focuses on squashing bugs but also includes a major network optimization that should allow for higher player capacity and larger PvP battles. In light of the network improvements, the team says that they’ll be keeping the Myrland instances offline until they’re needed again.

The patch also makes several adjustments to the alignment system. Hitting and getting hit by a local gray player will reset that player’s local gray timer. Pets are also now included in the alignment system and will turn gray when their owner turns gray. Hitting a criminal’s pet will now also reset both the criminal and their pet’s criminal timers.

There’s also a long list of bug fixes, the details of which can be found in the full patch notes.
