Mortal Online 2 Offers A Peek At Its Upcoming Unreal Engine 5 Upgrade

Mortal Online 2 will soon be getting a visual makeover with Star Vault now in the final stretch of transitioning the free-for-all PvP MMORPG to Unreal Engine 5. The studio offered up a preview of the UE5 version in their latest developer livestream where they showed off its crisper textures, enhanced particle effects, and better-looking dragons.

The UE5 upgrade will be part of what the team is calling an “Epic Release” which will also promises an increase in server capacity, the addition of a thievery system, a revamped new-player experience, and the introduction of zone rules and mechanics that change based on a characters faction reputation.
