New Sci-fi Space Survival Game ‘Stars End’ Launches Into Steam Early Access

stars end space survival bannerStars End, a new sci-fi space survival game with a Western spin has just landed on Steam Early Access. The game features a vast game world with procedural-generated planets that players can explore with their friends. The catch is that they’d have to gather enough resources to actually build a spaceship before they can explore other planets.

“Stars End is a multiplayer sci-fi survival game set hundreds of years in the future, in a star system colonized by humans escaping their dying home world.

Start with basic supplies and find a way into space - without any loading screens! Players will have the opportunity to travel the system to seek out resources, completing missions and uncovering mysteries - while building strongholds in space and planetside, continually facing the danger of other players.”

According to developer Reverie World Studios, most of the game’s features are already present in the Early Access version. Additional features will be added as development continues and feedback is gathered from the community. “This is the most confident Early Access release our studio has ever done, with the vast majority of gameplay mechanics already present,” said the studio. “Some features have not been implemented into the game yet, but these features were not advertised, and we plan to continue working on them together with our players over the Early Access period.”

Stars End is currently priced at $16.99 but Reverie says that they plan to gradually increase the price as more features are added until they reach the full release price point. Official launch is slated for early to late 2022.
