Tower Of Fantasy Dives Into Sound Of The Sea Update’s New Item Augmentation System
Ready to take your Tower of Fantasy game to the next level? Get your game face on because the Sound of the Sea update is coming tomorrow with a new equipment boosting system!
To unlock this exciting new system, players must first level up to 80 and have a five-star item to upgrade. Players will then be able to augment the item to increase its power, provided that they have the required materials and gold to do so. Each augmentation will boost the item’s base stats, improve four random stats, and unlock two extra augmentation stats, but beware - repeated attempts have a chance to decrease certain values.
After augmenting an item enough times, it has a chance to transform into titan equipment, adding a rare affix that can grant various benefits like increased HP and defense, damage boosts, and lifesteal. The new system also lets players transfer stat boosts from one item to another, but it only works for items of the same type and the newly acquired item must be five-star from the get-go.
All in all, it’s a pretty complex system that you might want to read up on before the Sound of the Sea update drops later today. The update will also mark the arrival of a whole host of new content, including a new character, a new world boss, and a new zone to explore.
