Tower of Fantasy Version 4.3 Update Adds Meryl Ironheart, New Boss, and Bicycles
Tower of Fantasy just rolled out its Version 4.3 update, Ethereal Rose, and it brought a lot more than just pretty petals. The update introduced a new chapter to the main storyline, new gameplay mechanics, and a new simulacrum—Meryl Ironheart.
The new storyline kicks off after the dust settles from the chaos caused by Public Security and Aurora Industries. Players will dive deeper into the mysteries of Aida, where more secrets are bound to be revealed. If you’re itching for a scenic ride, the update also added rentable bicycles, letting players explore the Gesthos Network map on two wheels for just 50 Norn per ride.
Another quirky addition? Paper planes. That’s right, you can now toss paper planes around the map. Pick one up, choose a direction, and watch it soar—or crash—because the flight path is hilariously unpredictable.
Also making her way into the free-to-play MMORPG for the first time is Meryl Ironheart, a new simulacrum character and her special weapon Siege Edge. Meryl is a composed and confident volt attacker with deep ties to Aida’s lore. She comes from a legendary family of swordsmen who were among the first families to arrive on Aida. Her backstory and lineage promise to reveal more of the planet’s history. Plus, you can add her to your Dorm—for those looking for a chill, sword-wielding waifu.
Players can also expect more gameplay goodies, including a level 96 boss named Sweetie in the Evolution Vanguard, a new Frontier Clash season, and the return of Sequential Phantasm with its boundless realm at damage level 6.
