Zenith: Infinite Realms Officially Launches To Massive Backlash From Zenith Players

Zenith’s free-to-play spinoff, Zenith: Infinite Realms, officially launched yesterday as part of Ramen VR’s efforts to bolster funding for its flagship VR MMORPG. It’s also meant to draw new players into the main game by offering them a taste of what it has to offer through session-based multiplayer adventures.

The Zenith community, however, isn’t too keen on the spinoff and is lashing out against the developers for halting development on the original game by review bombing it on Steam. While Zenith’s all-time review rating still sits at “Mostly Positive” its recent reviews have sunk to “Very Negative”, just one step above the lowest rating that a game can get.

The fact that Ramen VR has yet to deliver the promised non-VR version isn’t helping the studio’s case either. Meanwhile, the game’s Steam page has been updated to reflect the new Zenith: Nexus collective title, which includes Zenith: The Last City (the main game) and Zenith: Infinite Realms.
