    Best game ever!

Pretty standard P2W game. The top players openly admit to paying to win, and those that pay get much further than those who play F2P. F2P only gets the illusion of progression.

The community is a giant circlejerk around the admins and high level players. I don't mean it like RuneScape's famous "Zezima" (who a lot of people liked, but didn't obsess over), or pro MOBA players (where the top are treated like athletes, with fans), but there's a ridiculous amount of begging, groveling, and otherwise pathetic behaviour just to compete in the rat race that is Bit Heroes, because the fastest way to progress is to add high/higher level players. There really is no respectable way to progress lol, you can waste time playing RNG "friendslot" giveaways on the discord or grind away solo by adding on-level friends, etc. Just a really poorly designed progression system, but one that definitely benefits developers (forced community through the leveling system).

I'm not sure the player population can be classified as "high", maybe medium at best. It got a lot of new players from the mobile release, but it was pretty standard irrelevance until then, and I think it's fading back into irrelevance again - definitely stagnated already.

That being said, it's free and it's simple. The game pretty much plays itself for the most part, so it's more of an idle game than an MMO.
