Overview

Orake Overview

Orake is a 2D high fantasy MMORPG reminiscent of old-school games, thanks to a simple aesthetic and gameplay elements. Choose a playstyle: simply be equipping a weapon, no need to choose a class. As you use you weapons and spells you increase your corresponding stats, making you more powerful and able to take on formidable enemies. Explore an open world, broken into separate zones. Take on quests from NPCs, earn gold for your deeds of valor, and purchase new equipment to enhance your character's stats and abilities. Fight other players, but be careful. It's full loot PvP, so if you die you'll drop everything you're holding.

Orake Key Features:

  • No Classes - choose your weapons and abilities by simply equipping them, and then use them to increase corresponding stats.
  • Old School Presentation - a top-down, simply, high fantasy aesthetic and user interface plays on nostalgia for older MMORPGs.
  • Full Loot PvP - fight other players to the death, but be wary. When players die they drop all of their items.
  • Simple Controls - a simple user interface and control scheme makes it easy for anyone to start slaying.
  • Low System Requirements - in-line with old-school games, low system requirements makes Orake accessible to almost any player.
