Development History / Background:
Palia was revealed on June 03, 2021 and held its first pre-alpha test phase in September 2021. The studio behind the game, Singularity 6 is composed of ex-Riot Games staffers and is funded in part by a16, a large venture capital firm. On February 16, 2022 it was announced that Palia would pursue a free to play business model, with revenue support via a cash shop selling cosmetics. The game's open beta began on August 10, 2023.
