Soul Hunters Overview
Soul Hunters is a free-to-play sidescrolling MMORPG in the vein of Brave Frontier, Chain Chronicle and League of Angels Fire Raiders—collect, fuse and upgrade heroes and send them onto the game’s linear dungeon map to kill enemies. Players can strategically place characters in formation to assure that the tankiest characters receive the brunt of the attacks, and low-defense, high-damage characters sit towards the back and nuke the foes in front of them. Gameplay revolves around the activation of Ultimate skills at the correct time, making sure that you have a balanced party to tackle challenges in the most efficient way possible. The game features over 80 collectible heroes available as campaign drops, quest rewards, or chests purchased with in-game currency or cash shop currency.
Soul Hunters Key Features:
- Real-time Combat – Activate hero skills at the exact right moment to deal crushing blows to your enemies.
- 80+ Heroes to Collect – Fuse and equip heroes of unique roles to create the ultimate dungeon-crawling party.
- Unique Abilities – Every hero has unique, upgradeable abilities that can be activated in combat to deal massive damage, heal your allies or stop your opponents in their tracks.
- PvP and PvE Modes – Fight your way to victory in the game’s Arena against other players, or search for new Heroes in the game’s campaign mode or its challenge modes.

Soul Hunters is developed and published by Lilith Games, a Shanghai-based mobile developer originally titled Soul Clash, and known as Allstar Heroes in Europe. The North American version is an updated version of the original game, featuring a half year of redevelopment centered on art updates and changing the stat system due to its copyright infringement on Blizzard IPs. The game has a certain notoriety associated with legal action surrounding the game—in March of 2015, its release in Japan lead consumers to believe that it was a copycat game of Heroes Charge, while in truth, Heroes Charge by uCool Games was a rip-off of Soul Clash, originally released elsewhere in Asia prior to this occurrence. However, Soul Clash riffed off of games such as the Warcraft series and DOTA, and once its lawsuit against uCool became public, Blizzard stepped into the fray to sue Lilith Games for Soul Clash’s plagiarism of character artwork and game mechanics. Valve later joined Blizzard in the lawsuit against Lilith Games over copyright infringement.
