Overview

Tales of Pirates Overview

Tales of Pirates II, also called Pirate King Online, is a 3D adventure MMORPG that centers on a pirate-themed world of islands connected by teleportation and ship travel that the player must adventure through to progress in the game. Grind in traditional MMORPG fashion in the game’s expansive world, with three starter zones available to new players each with their own set of beginner quests. Choose from four unique characters with their own backstories and pick from multiple, branching classes to become increasingly powerful and useful in the game’s multiplayer modes. Crawl through the game’s dungeons or gain access to the sea and maritime combat with a custom-built ship in the pursuit of unique, character-specific loot and glory. Tales of Pirates shut down on February 29, 2016.

Tales of Pirates Key Features:

  • Four Unique Characters – (Lance, Carsise, Phyllis, Ami) Choose your character wisely, as each character is tied to specific classes—Lance, for example, cannot become a Herbalist, but Ami can.
  • Four Basic Classes – (Swordsman, Hunter, Explorer, Herbalist) Begin your journey by upgrading from Newbie to a basic class at level 10, gaining access to unique spell books and equipment.
  • Six Advanced Classes – (Crusader, Champion, Sharpshooter, Cleric, Seal Master, Voyager) Advance your basic class to an advanced class at level 40, allowing for more skills and better equipment to be worn.
  • Build and Customize a Ship – Sail the seas on a ship of your making, customizing it for stats and upgrading it as it levels to increase its fighting power.
  • Fairy Pet System – Collect and equip up to two fairies to boost your stats and help you in combat.
