This is the sixty sixth episode of the MMOs.com Podcast and we look at the most recent news and happenings in the MMO and gaming world. We started off with the weekly raid as usual which was "How Important is Roleplaying in MMORPGs?" We all shared stories about our roleplaying experiences, but we seemed to agree that it didn't really make or break a game as it was just one facet of the genre. We also discussed our Sunday Funday experience with Dungeon Fighter Online and how modern MMOs have made progression much faster (World of Warcraft and MapleStory have done this as well). We also discussed the controversy surrounding Black Desert Online and the decision by Kakao Games (Daum Games) to release the awakening content one at a time. As usual, we jumped around other fun topics as well, including Star Citizen and more.
