New World: Aeternum’s Hive of Gorgons Raid Promises Epic Battles and Puzzles

After years of shifting and evolving, New World is finally on its way to a big reboot with New World: Aeternum. This revamped version of Amazon’s MMORPG is set to launch on October 15th, and with it comes an intriguing new raid—The Hive of Gorgons. But don’t expect this to be just another dungeon. The Hive of Gorgons is New World’s first-ever 10-player raid and it’s shaping up to be a true test of teamwork, patience, and, of course, your ability to dodge enormous stone snakes.

The new raid promises to be packed with challenges, featuring “a gauntlet of puzzles and epic boss battles” that’ll push even the most seasoned players to their limits. But before you start polishing your gear, keep in mind that this isn’t just another fight-fest.

The Hive of Gorgons is divided into three distinct chapters, each with its own set of enemies, puzzles, and bosses. Basically, you’ll be running into danger, solving mysteries, and then squaring off with some of the toughest foes in Aeternum. In exchange, you’ll have the chance to snag some of the best gear in the game, as well as new crafting materials and perks exclusive to the raid.
