ArcheAge Twitter Account Shutting Down, Sparks Rumors Of Its Impending Demise
Kakao Games has announced that it will be shutting down the ArcheAge Twitter account and will be communicating with the community through the game’s official website, through Discord, and presumably, the occasional newsletter. That of itself isn’t exactly big news, but it’s sparked rumors that the 10-year old fantasy MMORPG might be nearing the end of its life.
Despite the rumors, both ArcheAge and its premium counterpart, ArcheAge Unchained are still getting regular updates and even opened up new Fresh Start servers early last month. The updates, however, mostly revolved around in-game events rather than actual content. There’s also the fact that ArcheAge 2 has been in development for some time now and is expected to launch sometime in 2024.
Read into that what you will, but the main takeaway is that the Twitter account will cease to be operational by March 17th.
