Clockwork Labs has confirmed another BitCraft pre-alpha testing scheduled for the end of the month. The studio says that it will be inviting “several thousand” players to participate in the playtest who’ll be selected from the 752,000 or so applicants who’ve applied for a chance to put the sandbox MMORPG through its paces.

If you’ve had the opportunity to take BitCraft for a spin during the previous alpha tests, you’re likely going to be sitting this one out as Clockwork plans to invite a fresh batch of testers to get “bias-free first impressions” of the game and everything that’s new in the upcoming pre-alpha build.

Some of the new things that players can expect include a new and improved content discovery system, improve tech to handle more players in non-instanced locations and points-of-interest, and updated models and gameplay mechanics. Clockwork says that they’re also working on improving the user interface and introducing purely cosmetic gear. The studio is also looking to hire a new full-time animator if any of you are interested.

The upcoming pre-alpha test will run from March 31st to April 2nd. If you haven’t thrown your name into the hat, you can still do so on the BitCraft official site.
