As the countdown to Diablo 4's release draws near, fans eagerly await the opportunity to delve into the dark and immersive world once again. With the turbulent history of Diablo III, players are understandably anxious about what lies ahead on June 6th. Blizzard, however, is extremely confident that the highly-anticipated game is ready for launch.

In an interview with Eurogamer, the studio revealed that last week’s Server Slam stress test went incredibly well, with players experiencing shorter queues and improved overall performance. They were also able to unearth some backend issues that could have caused problems during the actual launch. Thanks to the extra testing weekend, these issues were identified and resolved, ensuring a smoother experience for players when the game officially launches.

Last week’s final beta test also saw significant nerfs to the Necromancer’s minions, which didn’t sit well with testers. In response to player feedback, Blizzard says that it will be buffing the Necromancer’s undead pets back up but have yet to reveal specifics.

As we eagerly count down the remaining days until Diablo 4's arrival, all eyes are on Blizzard to deliver a smoother experience than the last Diablo game. In the meantime, you can check out the new gameplay trailer below.
