After numerous delays, Corepunk might finally be launching into early access this summer with the second and final alpha test to be held in May. Alpha 2 will allow players to level up their characters up to level 15 and take the improved build out for a spin before the promised early access launch.

“Over the last few months, we’ve been working hard on delivering various progression systems, including endgame content, two of which will be presented in the upcoming test — eight branches of passive talents and six branches of weapon specialization upgrades,” said Artificial Core.

The May playtest will focus on testing the said improvements as well as new game content, a huge collection of new items, balance changes, PvP, and a revamped crafting system. It will also mark the final months of testing for the fog-of-war MMORPG as Artificial Core confirms early access launch in as early as two months from now.

The early access build will be capped at level 20 and will feature new biomes, two new settlements, an expanded talent system, new craftable items, mounts, and automated localization with voiceovers for up to 26 languages.
