Das Tal Gets Caravan Raids And Pack Animals In Latest Playtest

Das Tal just entered a new phase of supporter-exclusive testing and with it comes new features. The current test started today and will run for 14 days. Only European servers will be available for this test, as it is a "pre-test" that is meant to make sure that the upcoming clan tests will go smoothly.

The biggest new feature in this test is caravan raids. Every ten minutes, a caravan will leave any resource camp that is controlled by a clan. If a player from an opposing clan raids it, they can take what it is carrying. If it makes it to the settlement of the clan that owns it unscathed, they will earn a "hefty resource bonus."

Players can also get pack animals that will follow them and carry their loot. However, "their loyalties are quite fickle" and other players can steal them from you.
