Dauntless Brings Back Dark Harvest For Halloween Alongside A New Island Adventure
The Shattered Isles is once again celebrating the spookiest season of the year as the Dark Harvest returns to Dauntless for its annual Halloween run. This year’s event features much of the same activities in Ramsgate as previous versions of the event, with one major difference.
“As the city lights start to flicker and a chilling aridity sweeps across the Shattered Isles, the city of Ramsgate is once again thrust into a period of perpetual darkness,” wrote Phoenix Labs. “Each year, the cult known as The Unseen grows increasingly restless from hiding in the shadows. This Dark Harvest, the emboldened cultists are finding new ways to expand their influence in the Shattered Isles.”
From now until November 2nd, players will be able to take on the challenge of searching for gifts and notes hidden by the cult known as The Unseen just like in previous Dark Harvest celebrations. This time around, gifts will unlock rumors which will reward players with unique Unseen cosmetics while finding notes will open up new Unseen quests that players can complete to earn even more cosmetics and a free Unseen Neophyte event pass with the full Bloodshot armor skin set up for grabs upon completion.
Players will also earn Harvest Coins upon completing certain activities which they can use to purchase patrol keys, combat merits, Rams, bounty tokens, aethersparks, and tonics from Honest Ozz’s shop.
The Halloween update also introduced a new island adventure in Hades Reach called The Exile. “A Krolachi warrior has been exiled to Hades Reach. Help him complete his Wild Hunt and reclaim his honour,” said Phoenix Labs. “However, be wary of the Krolachi Seer, the leader of the exile’s former clan. She may have other plans!”
Note that you’ll only be able to take on the new island adventure when you’ve unlocked the Reforge node on the Slayer’s Path. “Each of the island adventures is intended to give Slayers new ways to uncover stories about the Shattered Isles, while boosting weapon experience at key moments in progression,” said the devs.
