It’s been a week since the Witch Queen rolled out in Destiny 2 and while there are surprisingly no glaring issues with the expansion, there are a few balance adjustments that need to be made. Game Director Joe Blackburn reveals their plans to roll out several fixes to address them in a series of tweets on his personal Twitter page.

According to Blackburn, the limited drop chance and unlock requirements for weapons in Wellspring Throne World is severely limiting players’ chances to earn exotic glaives. The team will be releasing a patch next week to increase drop rates in Wellspring along with bad luck protection to make progress easier and more reliable.

Thursday’s patch will also increase Ascendant Alloy drop rates to make it easier to earn at Gold and Platinum completion levels. The team is also monitoring interactions surrounding Synthoceps and Suppressive Glaive and will be adjusting them accordingly.

“Overall, we are happy with the smooth launch of the Witch Queen, and now are buckling down to look at how things like Void 3.0 and Weapon Crafting are affecting the rest of the game, so we can start dialing things in to create a solid Year 5 for Destiny 2,” tweeted Blackburn.
